The owner of a second- hand electric car is offering to pay $700,000 to buy the car for a second.
The seller of the Tesla Model S is offering the car at a special auction on Tuesday at the Brisbane Motorcycle Club.
Auctioneer Scott Williams said the buyer wanted the car as a “lifetime present”.
“It’s a great opportunity for the buyer to try a bit of value for money and see what he can get for the money,” Mr Williams said.
“If he doesn’t like it he can return it for another, or to the buyer if he is not happy with it.”
It’ll be a brand new vehicle, it’ll be brand new.
“The buyer is not disclosing the car’s condition, but said he would “be very happy to trade it for anything in the market”.”
I can trade it in for the Tesla Roadster, or the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3,” he said.
The car was purchased in March 2016 for $1.6 million.
It was sold to an Australian businessman for $800,000.
Tesla Model S Autopilot has been on sale for nearly a year at auction, but the buyer is selling it for the first time in the auction. “
This is a brand-new vehicle and it’s a very rare car in the country, and I don’t think anyone else can say that,” he told the ABC.

He is selling the car because he doesn´t know what else to do with it and wants to “try something different”.
