The first-generation Tesla Model X SUV, with a 3,200-mile warranty, has finally arrived in the United States.
The Model S, which has a sticker price of $71,900, was unveiled at the New York Auto Show earlier this month.
Tesla said that the first batch of vehicles would be sold on June 29.
The first two-door Model S will sell for $39,000.
The new car will have a starting price of around $30,000, Tesla said.
The company plans to introduce the Model X sedan in 2019, although it is not yet clear when.
It is the first time that a carmaker has released a new SUV in the U.S. The Tesla Model 3, which is expected to be released in 2018, has a starting car price of under $50,000 and a five-year warranty.
Tesla announced a $1,000 discount for its new owners for the first three days of its introduction.
The savings are for the three days that are free of any charge.
The price is a great deal compared to other carmakers, said Jeff Bader, senior vice president of automotive at auto dealer Edmunds.
The $1 million discount applies to any new Model S or Model X, and can be combined with any other savings.
Tesla has also announced a new incentive program that will give its first 500 customers free gas for two weeks.

The carmaker said that it will be offering the discount for a total of two weeks on June 14.
This is a major milestone for Tesla, which for more than a year has been building up a fleet of cars and trucks with its Gigafactory in Nevada, which produces battery cells for electric cars.
The gigafactory has so far produced enough batteries for over 40,000 vehicles.
The automaker said that its first 100 Model 3s will arrive in 2021.
Tesla also plans to begin producing cars in Mexico in 2019.
Tesla Motors said that all Model S owners will receive free parking for 24 hours after delivery.
