
Posted December 02, 2019 05:53:25Tesla Motors, the maker of the Tesla electric car, has announced it will offer second-handed cars for $1,250 per kilowatt-hour, which is half the price of the first-hand model.
Tesla said that it will make the cars available for first-time buyers.
First-hand cars have been sold in the United States since 2002.
Tesla said in a statement that it has sold about 10,000 second-horses and expects to sell 20,000 this year.
The company said it expects to have the vehicles in service by December 2019.
As an example, Tesla said it will start selling the Model X SUV in December 2019 and the Model S sedan in October 2020.
There is also a Tesla model that is a third-hand vehicle that will be available in 2019.
